Kent Combs (He/Him)

Kent Combs is a certified Holden Qi Gong Tier 1 instructor and Reiki practitioner based in Olympia, Washington.

He didn't come to this work easily. He came to it because he needed it. Fifteen years in professional kitchens wore him down, his body, his mind, his spirit all paid the bill. When the pandemic hit and life fell apart, he reluctantly started a daily Qi Gong practice. He wiggled his arms and breathed. Somewhere in the middle of each session, something would lift. The sadness and the looping thoughts would go quiet, and he didn't have to understand why. Eight months in, he stopped needing his glasses. He hung up his apron in 2020 and never looked back.

Kent's work is about integration, bringing the body, the breath, and the energy underneath it all back into the same conversation. Most people come to him feeling scattered, stiff, or stuck. They leave feeling like themselves again.

His teaching is grounded, warm, and a little playful, with real respect for wherever you happen to be starting from. You don't have to be flexible. You don't have to be calm or spiritual. You just have to show up and breathe.

Inspired by nature, hiking, and the love of her amazing family and her pets, her teaching is rooted in well-being for everyone. Ginger strives to create a peaceful, supportive space where each person can slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with the energy of the earth, the trees, and the world around us. Nic Driscoll (They/Them)

Raised primarily in The Sunshine State, Nic originally hails from the gorgeous hills of Upstate New York. After spending the past decade in Seattle, they have relocated to New England where they currently reside with their partner and dog child. With an unwavering and, arguably, neurotic curiosity, they have dedicated their efforts to finding truth through obfuscation. To digging in, getting the answers, and reclaiming our power as consumers. There is no rabbit hole this weed detective will not go down.

After serving the PNW's 502 business across just about every position available, Nic has decided it's time for us all to start paying closer attention to the forces that move behind the weed counter. Know your rights, know the regulations, and read between the lines - welcome to the modern American cannabis industry. Welcome to the wild west. Let's saddle up.

Experience:

7 years in cannabis industry (WA)

Retail: Budtender, MMJ Consultant (three years), Budtender Educator, Inventory/Merchandising Management, Purchasing, Assistant Store Director.

Production/Processing: Brand Ambassador/Delivery Driver, Packaging/Processing, Purchasing, Inventory Manager, Assistant Manager

Kellie Frederick (She/Her)

Kellie Frederick has been practicing yoga since 1998 and teaching since completing her 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2020. She went on to earn her Lit Yoga Certification in 2021, expanding her approach to movement, meditation, and mindful practice.

Her teaching style is warm, intuitive, accessible, and grounded in the belief that yoga doesn’t have to be about perfect poses or performance. With additional training in Yoga Nidra, restorative practices, children’s yoga, and trauma-informed teaching, Kellie creates classes that invite students to slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and simply breathe.

She is especially passionate about the transformative power of deep rest and Yoga Nidra, often weaving together gentle movement, music, breathwork, and meditation.

After more than 25 years as a practitioner, Kellie still believes the most important part of yoga is simply showing up as you are—and hopefully leaving class feeling a little more grounded, connected, and at home in yourself.
